Narcotics Arrest
On April 16, 2020, at 2:35 pm, our communications center received a call of a traffic hazard in the 100 Block of Stonewall Street. Units responded to investigate the complaint which led to contact being made with Edward Lee Dickerson, Jr., 36, of Franklin, Virginia. During the investigation Dickerson was found to be in possession of narcotics and was subsequently arrested. Continued investigation led to a search warrant being executed in the 900 Block of Pretlow Street. As a result of the search warrant, several weapons (one stolen), U.S. currency, counterfeit U.S. currency, stolen property and drugs were recovered. Also arrested as a result of the search warrant was Tiffany Rooks, 29, of Franklin. We would like to thank Southampton County Sheriff’s Office and the Commonwealth Attorney’s office for their assistance in this on-going investigation.
